+ 1 as far as solaris.kde.org is concerned.

i will happily continue to maintain those KDE requirements which are
specific to KDE (for example: OpenEXR or libtidy, and things like
this). but it  makes very little sense for solaris.kde.org to
distribute yet another libpng and things of this sort.
