+1 on keeping SVR4 ;) 

Also OpenSolaris should use same PMS with Soalris.

TWW HPMS does't have a build system like FreeBSD but 
this can be done by a makefile. We (my workplace) fill this
gap easily by a makefile (inspired by makefile in FreeBSD)

Eric, execuse me for pushing my choice  again,
TWW HPMS (on top of SVR4) is the solution for today and future.
