We have four community proposals on this list now:

I'm clear on the Approachability proposal, the feedback was good, so
we're opening it. I'm not as clear on the Chinese users community, but

Jim - someone already said that if the proposed community got 3 CAB member
votes, then it was a go. So far, I think that the Approachability proposal
only got my (single) CAB vote. In fact, there were very few +1 votes
associated with it, despite a 2nd email from Stephen Hahn saying something
like "with all these +1 votes flying around can we please get some more
votes for Approachability".

Thanks, Al. Ok, I missed that. Sorry. :) But did the CAB rule on this and set in place a voting policy before we have the governance ratified? I don't want to confuse people by changing the pre-governance process to set up communities. Initially, my only intention with this was to provide a really simple and transparent mechanism to alert everyone and get some feedback. Just a bridge to fill in till the governance comes. So, now we have a situation where people got communities under the old system, now we have changed the rules just a bit, and next will come the governance. I really think we should have one bridge here. If the CAB wants to step in on this that's certainly fine, though. Let me know.

Jim
