I agree, but it needn't be an "or". Announcements should be available via
osol-announce, opensolaris.org, an RSS feed, and the comp.sys.sun.announce
newsgroup (as well as other useful venues). That way, the news is made
available in a format that people would like to digest it in.
We currently have adding RSS feeds for announcments on our list of
to-do's I will move it up the list.
