Anyone looking at this? Seems like an alternative to Sharity-Light, which might avoid some if its pitfalls.
In the general case, it seems to me that there's room for other network-based filesystem work to be made possible by OpenSolaris. For example, I think OpenAFS on Solaris does some seriously kludgey things that availablity of OpenSolaris source might make either unnecessary or at least possible to do with some greater assurance of proper function. Note: I'm in throwing-ideas-out-there mode, definitely _not_ in programming mode for anything that takes more than half an hour or so, including learning curve; neither time nor strength for nonstop coffee&pizza sessions in the forseeable future...
