This reminds me of the question:

Is Red Hat's RHEL 4.1 the same as CentOS 4.1?
The answer is 'yes'.

Are both the same as Fedora Core?
The answer is no.  However, Fedora Core is a distro of
Red Hat just as Schillix is a distro of Open Solaris.

Is OpenSolaris then the same as Solaris, as CentOS is
to RHEL?  Unfortunately, the answer is probably a
'no'.  I don't think they're compiled from the same
source base.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?  Thanks.
