When Solaris 10 came out, the sun4m architecture was no longer supported. But out of curiosity I
was wondering if it would be technically possible to do a build for the old
sun4m machines?
The sun4m MMU code and several of the sun4m specific devices were
all removed from the source tree and are not part of OpenSolaris.
Could the objects for the sun4m MMU code and old drivers
(eg. qe) at least not be put into the closed hierarchy under
the heading of "stuff we are never going to open" just to
allow people with sun4m systems to have a OpenSolaris
installation, if they have no other hardware available?
Another optional tarball?
