Howdy,
The specified versions of these patches have been officially tested
against building opensolaris. Using later revisions of patches may or
may not work and are untested. Also, it will definitely not be good
to use different patch levels, file bugs, and find out that it has to
do with your non-standard compiler.
I checked with a few very experienced folks in this arena and I would
strongly advise you to stick to the specified configuration. :-)
