Not possible to reassign copyright...wow, thats unusual. As in not possible to re-assign copyright to another party negating any interests that you may have in the work?
But the the <a href ="http://www.opensolaris.org/os/about/sun_contributor_agreement/";>SCA</a> is a joint ownership agreement so that would not necessarily be a reassignment but a grant of ownership/rights to deal in the covered works. That's how I interpret it anyway ;) Would not this issue occur in any circumstance where copyrighted works originating from a German contributor were transffered to another party?
