Actually the Subversion repository was up and running the very same moment opensolaris went live ( See svn://svn.genunix.org and/or http://svn.genunix.org/repos/ ). That said it only reflects what is posted as tarball and has no putback deltas (what a shame putback deltas are not provided - I would import them into svn repo easily). Still much better than nothing.
