And I backed it up and pointed out that in a real world environment (VA Linux
Systems), the servers were rolling over with SMP. I wasn't running those
servers, but there were qualified folks running them. Didn't happen all the
time, and some folks don't mind rebooting their servers for a trap dump
occasinally. Ok, your claim that Linux has gotten better is well taken. Let's
move on.

And how would real world environemnts be FUD? You made claims that David
Schanen was spreading FUD several times. He has backed it up with examples of
why he has made those claims, in each case with a real world situation.

Stefan Teleman was presented with a similar response, an engineer I have known
for a long, long time and he knows what he's doing, in large environments
that require high demands on systems in real time.

I can't speak for all of Sun, but I'm trying to do just that. I find this to
be completely 180 degrees against what I have seen in most all Linux forums,
however, where the developers not only push their bias on others, but become
very hostile. But since I feel Sun is better than that, I hope to improve as
I hope others will in the community. This is not only Sun engineers though,
it's a community, and just like any other community needs to stand on it's
own.

I understand your point above, and I'm working to strive better in the
community myself. Do you have something else to point out? (without
namecalling, or false accusations)
