I know that I have spent some time on qemu inside a zone for the purposes of virtualizing Windows : http://www.blastwave.org/dclarke/stuff/thin/virtual-virtual-win98.png I have had good success with this and there are a few guys around that have really poured in some efforts. Martin Bochnig ( see a package in www.blastwave.org/testing ) and Ben Taylor ( Sun guy ) are well versed in the nuances. Certainly I would like to see VMware on Solaris but right now we have Qemu. The performance is not so good and the network functionality is still a work in progress but the virtualization is excellent. That includes Sparc 32-bit also : http://www.blastwave.org/dclarke/stuff/thin/VM-Sparc32.png and also PPC work is being done. Dennis Clarke [EMAIL PROTECTED]
