Oh...it is this perl /usr/perl5/bin/perl and my perl that I am using is perl 5.8.6 :) which has a different INC path and cannot load the module

Where did you get that module?
You should use the Sun::Solaris::Kstat module included with Solaris;
it is certainly supported in Solaris 10 as it is the basis of the
"kstat" command which is written in perl.
