While the mechanism for doing so in the past has been rather hidden, the
documented method is to send announcements to
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. Jim created and described this
list about a week ago, so it's still relatively new. The selection of
items to make the front page list comes primarily from that forum.
Sorry if this was unclear, as Eric said, Jim sent message when -announce
was first set up, but I don't know if it got lost in all the traffic.
+ Anyone can send an announcement to osol-announce.
+ All messages are moderated and Jim and I approve the messages.
+ The approved messages are sent to the list and added to the home page
(and now the corresponding RSS feed).
+ No one will be allowed to respond to messages on -announce.
+ You can't post to -announce via the website.
There are currently no specific guidelines for what gets accepted, other
than "things that the community would want to know about".
Obviously a new version of SchilliX would meet that requirement. ;)
I will also post the general "how to post" info on the Announcements
page of the site.

Could someone explain me why this URL contains an announcement for
BeleniX-0.2 but does not mention the release of both SchilliX-0.2 and
SchilliX-0.2.1?
