You are talking about the biggest OpenSolaris problem.

The Debian packages e.g. in many cases would not even compile on Solaris because
Debian doesn't care bout the pathes they apply on the sources.

We need porting/fixing to be done for OpenSolaris......

And this is what I like to see for SchilliX since a year.
We need more people who work on automagical compilation for OpenSolaris.
