As mentioned in the ReleaseNotes:

- build 27 had the following flag days:
        "ce" driver update is required
                If your machine has a Sun GigaSwift Ethernet (a.k.a.
                Cassini or "ce") network interface, you must make sure
                your base install is build 20 or higher before BFU'ing.
                If you are below build 20, you will need to pkgadd the
                SUNWced package from a SXCR CD before BFU'ing.
        ZFS is a flag day for cap-eye-Install users. you must do a
                FULL BFU to build 27.

You can't do an Install to 27. You *must* BFU to it.

cheers,
steve

A have a very big problem
I wanted to upgrade my Solaris build 19(x86) to Solaris build 27 to enjoy the
power of ZFS=)
I used sunstudio to compile the source,then I installed kernel using command
"Install -G kernel.foo -k i86pc"(as said in documentation) and added some stuff
in /platform/boot....(again,as said in docs)
After reboot I was able to choose from Sol_nv 19,Failsafe mode,and
"Solaris_reboot_transient"(which was created by "reboot -- 'kernel.foo/unix'")
But,unfortunately, only the failsafe can be booted normally,in other two cases
i get:
//Messaged and errors from diskread
panic: cannot mount boot archive

Some people advised me to use "bootadm update-archive -R /root-dir" to repair
the multiboot, but that didn't help.Moreover, I can't boot from cd , it drops me to boot
debugger=((

I would be very glad if you help me to recover my system
