Actually, the distribution we're discussing here is SchilliX, which tries to follow the UNIX standards. Therein however lies the paradox, which is that the noise about GNU stuff isn't coming from GNU/FSF, but from users who came from Linux. It would at least appear that most people in the Linux world regard GNU and Linux to be synonymous. You and I may make the distinction, but we're a minority in that regard.
