You may be right with those "short" commands, but how about the "longer" commands with 2 or 3 chars that are similar to frequently typed program names?

This view -- which lots of people seem to share -- raises an interesting ambiguity:

Production Solaris 10 servers generally _don't_ have the GUI commands in /usr/bin. That's because they are based on the lightweight, server "version" of Solaris 10 -- which is to say they are based on the SUNWCreq installation cluster (or better yet, the new-and-improved SUNWCrnet).
