Hi While I can understand why no 4m, What I would like is something a bit easier, i just want ultraI support, the CPU no the u1 platform. I would like to use my old Sun ultra 2 motherboard rev 6. To run Solaris 10. This is just CPU support, no need to support old hardware like le, Since the u2 platform is allready included, this should be a lot simplers. Especially since if I remember, it was only yanked in build 5x.
Of course if u1e ended up being supported that is fine. Furthermore, a 2x 200mhz 1MB l2 cache u2, can be faster than many of the older supported systems on certain workloads. Of course some old eXX00 boxes will be supported with this change, never underestimate 20x 167mhz cpus.
