Hi, I have just installed Solaris Express Community version build 28 and wanted to install the latest version of OpenSolaris on top of it. I have downloaded the SUNWonbld and the opensolaris-bfu-20051207.i386 files. I installed the SUNWonbld package without any issue and uncompress and untarred the opensolaris-bfu file. I then ran "/opt/onbld/bin/bfu /var/tmp/archives-20051206/i386" and it gave me the following error message: [EMAIL PROTECTED] /export/home/root # tmp/archives-20051206/i386 < Copying /opt/onbld/bin/bfu to /tmp/bfu.804 Executing /tmp/bfu.804 /var/tmp/archives-20051206/i386
Loading /var/tmp/archives-20051206/i386 on / biosdev cannot be run on this machine. Transitioning from classic to multiboot requires a bootconf which is compatible with biosdev. bfu to onnv_12 first, then to a build with multiboot. bfu aborting Any idea???? The server I have installed Solaris Express on is an AMD box. Thanks a lot in advance, Bertrand.
