In answer to your question, the Sun Expert3D(-Lite)
and newer Sun XVR graphics cards (XVR-100 -> XVR1200)
work with the resolutions of 1400x900 and 1680x1000 at
16:10 wide resolution. The refresh rate is usually
76hz at that resolution, but I would usually start at
60hz.

You can usually find the more detailed video
resolution specs on Viewsonic monitors in their user
manuals - if not on the website.

I noticed the video resolution of 1680x1050 16:10 may
not be natively supported in the video drivers of the
current Sun graphics cards in which I am researching
for one of Viewsonic's monitors (the 1680x1000
resolutuon is closest).
