Who knows?

But the point is, KDE is quite mature and widely used, and decent
OpenSolaris-based distro must have it *integrated* (i.e. not just like
third-party /opt/csw...).

btw, NexentaOS Alpha 2 will have it integrated and derived from
Kubuntu/Breezy.
