Keep in mind though, this is a whole new OpenSolaris world. Now anyone can take OpenSolaris and KDE and do what, e.g., Canonical Ltd. is doing with Debian and GNOME. In other words, it seems to me your assertion should be not that you believe Sun is missing a big opportunity, but that there's a big opportunity up for grabs, and why isn't anyone going for it...
