KDE is more better than GNOME.

Why JDS (GNOME)?
This is obviously your personal opinion, if you want KDE on Solaris
go ahead and run it, no one is standing in your way. I am sure
there is a company out there who will even support it if you paid
them enough. As has been mentioned there are other considerations
such as licensing and the investment that Sun has put into JDE/
Gnome to take into consideration.
IMO, the best way to make positive ground on KDE on Solaris is to
latch on to Stefan Teleman's KDE work.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for Sun to produce a KDE-based JDS.
