Obviously I'd be keen to see KDE being compiled with Sun Studio - but if you look at one of the OpenSolaris development charters, we're also looking at making sure that things build with gcc. I think whatever build system and environment we come up with it should be possible to make sure that anyone can choose to build with both Studio and gcc. Then it's the distributions choice to build with one compiler when putting together their packages.
