I never said this. OpenSolaris is a set of sources.

I am not sure whether you use/understand the term OpenSolaris the right way.
Opensolaris allows you to add Closed source parts but if you do, you go a
nonclompliant way as other OpenSolaris based distributions will usually be
unable to follow your way.
