Folks, it's a new year, new time slot. We're moving from Tuesday evenings to Thursday evenings as this makes it easier for the folks scheduling the room. Please make note, we will be on the 4th Thursday of the month, starting this months and continuing on forward.
Thanks to all that showed up at the potlock last month, I think it was a good time for those that were in attendance, and the BrandZ demo was very interesting. This month we have one of the community members, Max Bruning to give a presentation on device drivers, how they work in Solaris, and some of the new APIs. It is my hopes that this will give folks an overview of device drivers for next month, when the SATA team will present on the SATA frameworks that are going back and will be available in Solaris, soon. Max teaches several courses at Sun University, but attends the SVOSUG and has been a part of our community for quite some time. Meeting will take place on Jan 26th, 2006, 7:30pm-10:00pm, upstairs room of SCA03, the auditorium at the Sun Santa Clara campus. Hope to see you there.
