I'm installing opensolaris build 30 from DVD. There is one Intel Pro 1000
Desktop MT ethernet card, which is correctly recognized as e1000g0, but is not
working. I can't ping or ssh etc other machines on the LAN.

There is sth really funny:

I manualy assign IP (192.168.0.100) to e1000g0, default router machine
(192.168.0.1) and DNS servers. When I ping from e1000g0 to the router machine
and I run 'tcpdump' on the router machine, I can see the router machine receive
ARP requests and produces ARP replies, but e1000g0 doesn't see the replies.
Then I manually add ethernet MAC addresses to the ARP caches on the two
machines, and I 'ssh' from e1000g0 to router machine, again ssh tcp packets are
seen and replied by the router machine, but never seen by e1000g0.

In short, e1000g0 can send but not receive. Really confusing. e1000g0 is shown
to work in full-duplex and gigabit mode. Everything seems correct.

If I boot from Belenix 0.3 LiveCD, e1000g0 works. I really need help. Thanks.
