.. it looks pretty clear that I am stuck in 32-bit world on this IBM
e325 box.  No way around that.  Oh well .. I will try to plow forwards
regardless.

SchilliX boots fine and seems to do what it does.  The network device
can be configured and I can ping the outside world.  For a lark I will
now create a second interface on a virtual net VMnet1 and then get
BeleniX booted up with dual nics also.  This should be fun.

VMWare really rocks :-)
