Quite unrealistic.  What would be nice is some sort of FAQ, possibly
on the Device Drivers community site, as mentioned elsewhere in this
thread.  My pre-post searching was on the difficult side, as keywords
like "GPL", "CDDL" and "driver" turned up many, many uselss results.

I think I will do that.  Rich's post about not being able to GPL magic
numbers or algorithms seems reasonable to me, but I want to do things
right.
