Hello All,
Due to the spamming tirade of late we've had to make some changes to
the Genunix Wiki. Effective immediately all users must login to edit
pages. At the moment I'm allowing anyone and everyone to create
accounts for themselves and I'm hoping that this won't need to change.
Personally I'm a fan of anonymous editing, but frankly its nice to know
who's contributing and editing content regardless.
In addition, as requested some time ago, we're now permitting file
uploads. When your logged in you'll see a "Upload File" link on the
"Special Pages" box in the bottom left nav.
I greatly appreciate everyone who's added content to and edited pages
on the Wiki and I hope to see even more. There is no need for anyone to
be shy, just jump in and have a go at it.. if things are wrong or
misrepresented its no biggy, someone else can fix it, thats what its all
about.
I'd like to extend a special thank you to Venky who took the time to
clean up after the spammer and respond to mails. As of now he's our
first Sysop, so be nice to him or he'll like banish you or something.

Genunix comments please, as usual, address them to Al Hopper and/or myself.
