Agreed.

Agreed.

Correct; and this is one of the inherent problems a GUI paradigm has.
This is precisely why GUI will never be quite as powerful as a CLI tool.

Just stick a system on a serial line, and all the fancy GUIs become completely 
useless in a fraction of a second.
