Just thought I'd mention that you could find it desirable to keep /export/home on a separate partition (or pool) once you are comfortable. That way you don't need to worry about backing anything up if you decide to do a clean reinstall in the future. Just today I did a fresh install of b36 on this laptop, but you wouldn't know it since I was easily able to fully preserve my home directory. I have an 8GB /, 1GB swap, and the rest in a ZFS pool.
