This is all from distant memory; I can't really put a finger on
it now.
As for the Companion Software community (does it necessarily have
"Nevada" in the name?), the first thing I note is that this is about
an "existing" entity and we're just rolling up the barbed wire.
Perhaps the scope could be somewhat broader such as:
- how can we build for multiple releases and not get into
a dependency mess?
