OK. For starters, what's with my question about CSW going Sys V compliant with
/etc/opt/csw and /var/opt/<product>/?

Then, as far as I know, Blastwave still refuses participation of people like
me, who have the expertise to properly package and integrate a product in
Solaris, but do not have the resources to spend porting badly written Linux SW
that won't compile on anything other than Linux, let alone Solaris.

On the other hand, I can't begin doing CSW packaging until something is done
about Sys V compliance, because then every "itch scratch" I make, I would have
to replicate twice, once for CSW and once to meet my own quality standards,
which are at the moment higher than CSW's.

If you're willing to talk and listen, then let's talk. I'm here open for
dialogue, and you also have my e-mail address. The ball's in your court.
