I am going to now install a new Sony DRU-820A DVD burner into my trusty
server here and finally be able to burn dual layer DVD's. I also have DVD+R
DL 120mm media at the whopping price of $7 each. If I can get all things
working smoothly then I should be able to burn 8.5 GB DVD's and be able to
work on the "Grand OpenSolaris Distro DVD ( GOD-DVD )" which will have
SchilliX, Nexenta, as well as Belenix and MarTUX all on one glorious DVD.[1]
But wait ! There's more !
With 8.5 GB of space to write to I can also include all of the source
code as well as a boat load of software sources from other places and
Blastwave software too!
This is why I call it the GOD-DVD of OpenSolaris
