Solaris 10 include the software.
In our case, we have just added a Sun 3510, disks configured and logical drive
bind on two channels. I did not enable the Multipathing as we have another 3510
already used as Meta configuration. (Sun Volume Manager).

For the new array has dual channels, I can see two device name like c9t40d0 and
c8t43d0 (I think i have run the devfsadm after attach new array) - this is a
little bit easy to corrupt. Does this mean one device name has to be
unconfigured by cfgadm manually every time reboot? if so, it seems like a bug.

If enable Multipathing, then device name will change to sth like
c10t600C0FF00000000007EB9471AB81BB00d0, I believe the vfstab will be modify
automatically. Then how about the Solaris Volume metadevices, can they be
updated too? If not, then what will happen if the original name like c9t40d0
gone?

The first 3510 not bind on two channels, then will it stay on the same name? I
think so. Then, if I enable second channel in the 3510, then what will happen
to it in a Multipathing-enabled system?(All array are already used)

Thanks
yj
