Not all fail, but many do. Which quickly turns the next complaint that the current Solaris build configuration can only be described as "brittle". Even minor changes like changing the default optimisation level to other levels (or removing the "-xO[1-5]"/"-O" options, or adding stuff like "-xs" to improve debugging within binaries) causes MASSIVE build failures.
