What would be needed in the way of additional drivers, boot support, etc to make
that happen? Is sufficient info available from publically available
OpenSolaris code,
etc?

In a perverse way, that might actually help get more software for x86; having a
single box with both SPARC and x86 (and of course, the possibility of booting
Windows
on the SunPCi when those disgusting apps that staff wienies can't live without
get
forced on real, productive people) would certainly reduce the excuses for not
developing for both SPARC and x86 in parallel. Not that there might not be
other ways to achieve the illusion of that, of course; but perhaps none cheaper,
taking into account not only purchase price, but desk space, power, etc.

I'm picking up a nice Sun Blade 2000; I _may_ break down and get a SunPCi card
to
go with it, so there's a remote possibility that I could have the hardware
needed to
explore the possibility. Whether I'd have the time is another story...
