I second this proposal.
It will be great to have a good example driver from outside Sun using
the latest driver techniques for controlling sophisticated NIC hardware.
It will also be nice to have an(other) example of a hardware vendor
using open-source drivers instead of proprietary ones, and getting the
benefits of review/contribution from the whole networking/driver
community.
