nice ? the word you use is "nice" ? [ insert complete artsy hissy fit here ] ha ha .. yeah man .. you are dead right on that. This image is actually a crop of a much larger image at 4096x3072 pixels. Then I cropped out the 1600x1200 section here and that bland column really sticks out. I was going to walk outside and take a few pictures of some rocks and maybe good old concrete and then image map that onto the columns. I did this in the past with a regular roman style fluted column and the render times go way way up. I guess I was getting lazy and cutting corners.
