Err, no, that would be waaaayy beyond the scope of just adjusting the font. I dont think there was existing code like that, and I wanst about to tackle it myself either :-) Although, I wouldnt think it would be too hard for someone... the screen must already have some kind of character raster buffer that is 80x25 in size. (or in my code's case, softc->height x softc->rows) it should be a matter of "merely" increasing the length of it, and then fixing the viewport. Plus then adding additional keystroke recognition of PgUp/Pg/Dn. But that "someone" is not me right now :-} and, um.... while there appears to be a "softc->shadow" buffer... it only ever seems to get USED, when switching between vga/text mode, and vga/graphics mode. It isnt even clear to me how it ever gets updated. character input/output isnt handled in the driver. soo.. it might be more appropriate to actually handle pgup/pgdown in the text console I/O handling driver. dunno. _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
