any luck with this yet ? -- if you have xmms installed, did you try changing the audio output settings in the solaris output plugin ? - this has generally worked for me (meaning i've never resorted to using sdtaudiocontrol)
While on the topic of the 810 drivers, is anyone encountering temporally distorted audio ?. I'm wondering just how common the issue of AC97 codecs with non-standard clocking (!= 12.288MHz) is, and why this issue seems peculiar to boards with the chipsets of the ICH ilk ?. The audio810 driver does not support codecs with non-standard clocking, while Jurgen's audioi810 driver has a configurable to work around this problem. Would there be any interest in having these drivers automatically calibrate themselves for undistorted audio in the case of a non-standard AC97 clock rate ?.
