thanks sriram ------------------------ There was some 'sifting of the sand' as a few GNOME 2.14.2 apps were backported (i.e. Evince 0.5.3) and FireFox/Thunderbird was brought up to 1.5.0.4 (latest versions) for JDS Vermillion b43. You'd be amazed how far JDS has come along as a professional desktop environment - yet still provides some of the better applications that you used to only see in Linux ports. Someone even ported Gnomemeeting and a webcam driver. So, there is much to review for Solaris journalists and evangelists...
