Stephen Lau announced [1] that the new nightlies now contained a mecurial
incremental bundle, which should save a significant amount of time on
download.

Alan Coopersmith announced [2] build 43 of X, including some of the headers from
the new X modular releases, and various configuration fixes.

Laszlo Peter detailed [3] his experience of using the SFW build environment in
updating libxml and libxslt, indicating that the time and work from build to
packaging was significant and thought that it didn't encourage easy
