Ok, so I got the controller working, seems it seems that if you dont have any drives attached to the controller, it bugs out.
But Im pretty much stuck since my card is the RAID version, so no disks under format, even tho it shows up in prtconf -pv. These newer version of the card cannot be swiched between RAID/NonRAID via jumper, since it doesnt exist anymore. Im hoping I can find a non-RAID version, because for $25, this is a great way to expand my ZFS storage pool :-D Im also going to try to flash the card with an older, nonRAID firmware.
