This is a known problem, for which I am preparing to integrate a fix into Solaris Nevada (and into the next possible S10 update). While this is interesting why do you conclude this has anything to do with ACPI? In any case, my experience has been, after 1000+ reboots, that the RAID controller pushes the data and Solaris is not impacted at all.
