That's a funny post! So what you'd really like to have is HAL9000. Well, don't we all dream of that? Along those lines, could I have the "Discovery" thrown in the bundle too? Come on Dennis. In order to do what you describe, we have to completely reinvent the way computers work! And so far, nobody has managed to do that. One would most likely need to move away from traditional chips and delve into the realm of bio-electronics and DNA-based computing. Which, in spite of all the catchy articles we've all been reading, still seems very far off. Meanwhile, you'll just have to settle for the best operating system on the planet -- Solaris.
