Don't knock microkernels; didn't Sun play with one
once ("Spring")? :-) Even if they didn't use it,
supposedly they learned a thing or two in the process.
Not to mention that for awhile, they had the
_potentially_ coolest OS going (Chorus) in their
stable too.
