Your point is absolutely valid.


Maybe blastwave should go to the NYSE.
Say CSWX as symbol then.
Maybe the CSW-maintainers then had enough money to pay their own private
bills (electricity, food etc) and could make it their primary occupation
(and blastwave could hire special security experts only for the purpose
of keeping patches in sync with vulnerabilities).

And we could make RHEL a bit extra trouble, that would be nice.
(I mean Blastwave as complete bootable and installable SVR4-pkgadd based
OpenSolaris-Distribution, that we soon are.)

Or CSW should become something like blastwave.sun.com (and properly funded).
But I'm just yet another csw-maintainer - in any case the wrong guy to
decide on anything of that sort.
Just my theoretical humble thoughts.
